Unless you’re living under a rock, you’ve heard a lot about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its potential for good and bad. While it is true that Building Bridges Business Solutions focuses on hardware, we recognize that our clients are being impacted by AI.  We thought it would be helpful to take a look from a business perspective.

 

 

Basic Definitions

Generative AI -  ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, MidJourney – Generate content, i.e., words, images

 

Deep Search – DeepSeek, Claude – Analysis, research, data organization

 

Agentic AI -  ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini – Act as your agent with workflows, tasks, etc.

 

Robotic AI – Literal robots, i.e., dogs, humanoids

 

Generative AI is so common I’m sure you see some form of it daily. Can you recognize it? We’ll discuss tips in an upcoming eNews. It’s becoming more of an issue with fake news so it’s important to be skeptical.

  • 96% of social media marketers use AI to write posts

  • Duolingo – prioritized AI over human translators

  • Vogue – used a Guess ad with AI generated model

  • SquareSpace – can build your website with AI


AI Policy – Companies are beginning to publish policies about their usage like a Privacy Policy.
